Bond Holders
I remember bits of the bond scheme and the club trying to bring it in , but I don't get why these are still valid. How much were the Bonds? What did you get for them? and why all these years later do they still get priory why cant the club just buy them out?

I stopped going after the last home game of that season (Forest?). I only started going again when the Icelandics came in.

Re: Bond Holders

I receieved the email too, which I why I bumped up the thread (nice of Johnson to get it totally wrong as usual, I am not a bondholder).

Did you also get the follow up email regarding the recent prices? Seems the most expensive was sold for £13k and the average price over the last year is £7.5k. As these two are up for auction I can see them going to a significant sum.

Big difference asking 9k for two bonds and getting 9k.

Re: Bond Holders
Guaranteed away and finals tickets for £4.5k one off cost that’s yours for life plus sale potential probably isn’t that bad.

£9k for a pair is outrageous mind.

And whilst bumped, RIP our own Eddie B and for the wider West Ham home and away family over all the years Bob the cap.

Both Legends in their own right.

Re: Bond Holders
What a shock one of the biggest wankers to ever post on here has bumped this.

Bumping to do the very thing the whole protests sort to avoid.

Never should 11mde be allowed to call himself West Ham.

Nevermind the disgraceful, weasel like behaviour the cunt has exhibited before trying to tout a Bond is the very worst thing a West Ham fan should do.

Told you for years what this cunt was about, I was right as usual.

Stats - Why was Scott Sellars wearing black leggings??

Re: Bond Holders
Brings back old memories, after 60 plus years my Grandad never went to another match after that season. The bonds purchased in 1992 are valid for 150 years, there is a waiting list for those that wish to buy one.

Re: Bond Holders
I went to an away game at Blackburn many years ago with some mates.
One of my mates supported Blackburn and his uncle was a member of the Blackburn 100 club so we had to wear a jacket to get into the club.
A fellow Irons fan saw us and said 'bond holders' which we weren't.
We went in the club after the game and Scott Sellars was in there with a girl with the most gorgeous arse in a pair of black leggings.
Worth the trip alone that was.

Which year was this thread started because I sure as hell don't remember posting on it, although what I wrote is dead right.
Both pairs of bonds were bought to keep pairs of seats front row of the upper west behind the directors box, which they didn't want to lose after decades.

Blame the old board for pressurising long time supporters into coughing up.

Sorry to bump this up the list.

Does anyone know the most a West Ham bond has sold for? And if one was available what the going rate might be?
